Research Log
Research Timeline
A chronological record of internal diagnostic milestones. This is not a polished changelog — it is what happened, when it happened, and what it meant. Old data is preserved. The evolution is the point.
⚠ These are internal diagnostic milestones, not public benchmark results. Numbers here reflect controlled internal runs. No external validation has been performed.
Shadow Scaling Milestone — 200k Clean Run & 500k Staging
The 200k NMU shadow pilot completed with no catastrophic failure modes. This is the most significant architectural validation to date. At the same time, scaling to 500k revealed representational instability in the Stabilization Engine under increased sequence diversity. Recovery protocol was initiated immediately and is currently active.
The 500k instability is not considered a failure. The Stabilization Engine correctly signaled representational drift rather than silently degrading. This is the expected behavior of an epistemically-aware architecture. The diagnostic signal is meaningful.
Early Corpus Formation — First Public Diagnostic Snapshot
First public diagnostic snapshot. The Corpus Freeze V0 was accepted and Micro-Training V0 passed. This established the baseline for NMU formation and world-state graph construction. The 50k NMU target was set as the next diagnostic threshold.
At this stage, the world-state graph was sparse but coherent. The 13k NMU count reflects initial corpus ingestion at controlled diversity. The world-state edge density (1,310 / 2,334 = 0.56 edges per node) was within expected range for early-phase formation.
